Girls Of Power

Girls Of Power (GOP) is an award winning project that is for young women aged  12-18. It's all about raising sexual awarness and and self image and how not to go by what beauty magazines say. The NHS abjectives state that they want to encourage young people to deley becoming sexually active. we feel we are working with this objective.

In 2009 GOP won the Dumfries and Galloway WISH award (wellbeing in sexual he4alth)

The project receives good feedback from the young people. we teach GOP to youth groups and take it in to schools for two houres a week. The format for teaching GOP is much the same as PARTY; talk with them not at them, use visual aids/analogies.
